A Ministry Rooted in Community
The Village Centre is a ministry of East Mains Baptist Church, established in 2007. For years, our church opened its doors to our neighbours in East Kilbride, but as more people arrived, we realised more space and focus on serving our community was needed. What began with open doors and warm hospitality soon blossomed into a growing vision. Guided by prayer and purpose, we researched local needs, developed a clear plan, and together with partners, brought The Village Centre to life.

Today, The Village Centre stands as the fruit of many hearts and hands - church members, local organisations, volunteers and staff - uniting around one goal: to offer life-changing support and connection to the community of East Kilbride.
Our Vision and Values
Rooted in Jesus' invitation to a New Way of Living, we live out three core values:
-
Being Transformed - We embrace God’s continual work in us, believing transformation is at the heart of faith.
-
Living Connected - We believe true community is vital, where lives are intertwined through grace, generosity and fellowship.
-
Change Your World - Our values extend beyond our walls, inspiring action that impacts the world around us.
A Place for Everyone
The Village Centre is more than a building - it's a living ministry of the church and its people. We are here because we care for you. We aim to create a welcoming space where:
 |
👉 Neighbours from different generations gather freely
👉 Vulnerable individuals find practical support and friendship
👉 Families discover safe, fun environments for children and youth |
