Coming along to a church gathering for the first time can be daunting. But having an idea about what to expect can make it easier. We’d love to help you find your feet and introduce you to some of the family. We gather on Sundays and hang out and spend time worshipping God, reading the bible, listening to a talk and sharing some stories together. Everyone is welcome! Our services are informal, and you don’t need to dress up. We have a welcome team who will greet you when you arrive and can answer your questions. We have a wide range of people worshipping with us so please know that you will not feel out of place.

Our Sunday Morning Service starts at 11:00am when everyone meets together in the main sanctuary and the format normally includes times of worship with all ages together, followed by a teaching time, usually given by one of the pastors.

Under 3's can rest or play, under the supervision of a small team, in a dedicated crèche room situated upstairs in Room 7 of the Village Centre. After a time of worship, the younger children leave and meet in groups around the buildings. For more information on Children’s ministries ask one of the Welcome Team or a fellow parent where your child's age group meets. The young people normally stay in the service for a prolonged worship time before leaving to attend their groups.

There are always opportunities to receive prayer from our Prayer Ministry team. The morning service usually finishes shortly after 12.30pm. Tea and coffee is served in the Village Centre hall after the service, where the Welcome Desk for more information about EMBC is located.

Sunday Evenings starting at 6:30pm are used for different types of training and equipping events or courses, so the format can be different from week to week.  For more information please check the Church Calendar.

Sunday morning sermons are recorded and can be listened to or downloaded here.
