Caring for our church family with Christ‑like love

The Pastoral Care Group is at the heart of our care for EMBC's community, committed to living out Jesus’ command to “love one another as I have loved you” (John 13). Our team works to ensure that every person in our church family feels supported, valued, and cared for.

This ministry expresses practical love through prayer, encouragement, visits, and phone calls. Whether someone is unwell, in a care home, feeling lonely, or simply in need of a friendly face and a listening ear, the team is there to offer comfort and connection. Through these simple but meaningful acts, we strengthen the bonds of community and reflect Christ’s compassion.

Matthew 25 v 36: “I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.”
